This tutorial was written in Paintshop Pro9

I am also using the artwork of Suzanne Woolcott for the Tube and background under licence number SAMUAMI, you will need a licence to use Suzanne's work which can be obtained directly from her site

The scrapkit I am using is by Heart & Soul Creations called Baby Boom (Tagger Size) and can be purchased from HERE

My Background canvas HERE

Open up a new canvas 800 x 800 with a white background, my background canvas, copy and paste as a new layer

Open up Frame5, copy and paste as a new layer, this should go automatically over the canvas.

Open up Element 8, copy and paste as a new layer, position behind the frame in the 12 O'clock position, move it so that you can see the little triangles at the top of the frame shape (See main image for guidance). Duplicate and go to image/flip and position at the bottom of the frame. Merge these two layers together then duplicate and on the duplicate go to Image/Rotate/Free Rotate/Single Layer by 90 degrees. With your eraser tool selected, erase any part of this flower design that is showing inside the frame, you should now have something like this

Open up a tube of choice, and paste it behind the frame layer, if you want to make the tube look as though it is part inside the frame and part outside the frame then duplicate the tube, and place the duplicate on top of the frame, erasing any part that is overlapping the frame you do not want thereby leaving the tube looking as though it is half inside/half outside the frame. Alternative, place a picture of your newborn baby inside the frame

Open up one of the ants of choice, copy and paste as a new layer, position to the bottom right of the frame, open up a second ant, resize it by 60% then copy and paste and position to the left of the other ant

Open up Element 5, and with your selection tool, make a selection around one of the flowers, go to edit/copy then edit/paste as New image, copy and paste this new image of one single flower only onto your canvas, and place to the bottom left hand side of the frame, duplicate the flower then move it to the top right hand side of the frame

Open up Element 54, resize by 60% twice, copy and paste as a new layer on the canvas and position to the top left of the frame, rotate this single layer by 22.5 degrees right

Open up on of the Double Heart elements then resize it by 60%, copy and paste as a new layer and position to your liking over the metalwork at the bottom left of the frame, grab your eraser tool and remove the right hand side section of the ribbon that is over the mentalwork to make it look like the ribbon has been threaded over the metalwork as shown below

Finally add your name in a font of choice, and any relevant copyright information then go to layers/merge/flatten when you are happy and save your file as a .png file and you are finished
